Our mission
We believe news can be delivered honestly, clearly and without excessive pathos. SCHEV was created for people who want to understand what's happening in the world, culture and technology — while staying true to themselves.
Independence
SCHEV isn't owned by political parties, oligarchs or financial-industrial groups. That lets us write about what we consider important, not what benefits someone else.
What we do
We publish news, long reads, reviews and columns. We work with authors who love what they do, and we try to talk to readers as equals — without condescension, and without oversimplifying where it matters.
